I did get wet. Misty is the correct term. Not only at the base, but at the top. What looks like clouds right above the rock is really mist from the falls. Plunging 620 feet Bridalveil Fall is often the first waterfall you'll see when entering Yosemite Valley While most Valley waterfalls are seasonal, Bridalveil Fall flows throughout the year leaping into the valley from Bridalveil Creek atop its precipice.
