Description
My “watercolor” is a digitally hand-altered adaptation of my original photograph. South of Oxnard, Ventura County, California along California Hwy 1 is Point Mugu State Park. The coast between Point Mugu and Santa Monica, California is popular for camping. I was fortunate to find this quiet beach, just north of Buena Yorba Road, where the sand, rocks and water merged. I was standing in the bluff just off the highway looking northwest towards the Point Mugu promontory. In the distance is PCH, Hwy 1. The building is one of the beach rentals that line sections of the coast. How fortunate I was to share this sunset with the couple walking arm in arm along the beach.
